    Bundjalung Kunjiel (dance troupe)

Bundjalung Kunjiel is a world travelled troupe presenting culture through tribal song and dance.

Goompi formed the troupe over 11 years ago after learning as a teen from his skin fathers who taught him their song and dance. From the Nunukal people of North Stradbroke Island.

After practicing and presenting culture for 25 years Goompi’s troupe represents the local Kombumerri tribal people and their region of the Gold Coast.

And the neighbouring Minjungbal tribal area of Tweed Heads, NSW.

Showcasing at local and interstate events, for community functions and gatherings, festivals and private functions locally, interstate and internationally.

In the last 8 years the troupe with different members have toured through many countries overseas. Returning back to some of those locations more than once in the same year.
